Baby photography wall art: how to display your best images
So, you’re going to the trouble of hiring a pro to capture the most beautiful images of your baby and family. Now how on earth do you create stunning baby photography wall art to match?
Firstly, Big Fat Tick for organising the photoshoot. That’s the hardest part.
Honestly, you’ll thank yourself a million times over for capturing portraits of your children while they’re still so small.
It’s one thing taking plenty of snapshots on your phone, only for them to end up on your computer hard drive somewhere. It’s another thing entirely to actually plan for, and book, a professional photographer to do it for you.
A good photographer will be able to recreate the feelings, the emotions and make you remember what it was like to be a mum at that point in time.
For one thing you’ll actually be IN the photographs as well – something us mums neglect to do when we’re behind the phone camera all the time.
Don’t let your images gather virtual dust!
But once you’ve got those images back from your photographer, what are you going to do with them? Please, please don’t stick them on a memory stick and put them in a drawer hoping to ‘sort them out’ one day. That day may never come and before you know it your kids are grown up.
At Louisa Peacock Photography, I’m a full-service studio, which means I help you to print your images and display them, whether that be in a custom-made album to flick through or some beautiful baby photography wall art or galleries.
In this blog, I’m going to talk about printing your photos into albums and the range I offer at my studio.
The Cherish Album
This is my best album. The one that all my clients go nuts for! It’s so stunning it’s like a work of art (which is kinda the point).
It’s a 25×25″ album which sits within this beautiful personalised keepsake box. Book bound with a seamless gutter and either a Chrystal image or leather cover, this album is modern, clean and elegant.
Each page is an experience to turn!
The Embrace Album
A really popular choice the Embrace is a customised 12 x 8 album with 20 pages of images from your session. Portraits are laid out to best suit the design and you get to choose how much design and input you want. There can be customised text on the opening spread with birth statistics and footprints added.
The Inspire Case
Not sure whether to print an album or buy some wall art? Then this amazing Case is the best of both worlds. You get 20 8×10 matted prints, within a beautiful handmade white wooden box. The box itself has an acrylic slide cover meaning it can be displayed upright on any shelf or table, and when you want to you can change the front image to display something else.
Versatile and fresh, the Inspire Case is a great choice for parents looking to display and enjoy their images daily.
The Wonder Album
My bestseller by far, the Wonder Album combines beautiful design with practicality. Presented in its own, beautiful display box – perfect for going centre stage on the mantlepiece or bookshelf – the album itself houses 20 images.
Book bound with lay flat pages, the images can go right up to the edge of the page giving you a perfect 12×8″ finish on each one.
The Comfort Book
My basic book offers families the chance to showcase multiple images from their session in a smaller presentation at a more affordable price. The Comfort book offers 20 bordered images inside a 6×6 book. Offered in our standard matt finish and your choice of limited cover options, families may choose to deboss the front cover for a minor additional charge.
