Nice to meet you
I’m Louisa, a fine art photographer living in the beautiful seaside town of Whitstable, Kent.
I am drawn to creating ethereal, dreamy portraits outside in nature. Living so close to the sea I can make use of our vast Kent skies and beautiful clouds and sunsets for truly original and outstanding images.
I began creating fine art photography three years ago, after the sudden loss of my mum and a serious personal illness in the same year — an experience that became a profound wake-up call.
Like many artists before me, I draw inspiration from the British coastline, finding solace in the shifting seascapes and Turner skies. Through dreamlike photographs, I explore themes of authenticity and homecoming as a path toward healing and personal growth. Today, I continue this work from my studio in Whitstable.
Through the lens of photography, I aim to remind people that they are already enough just as they are. I want to encourage them to let go of performing, to celebrate their individuality, and to live with intention and authenticity.
Life is for living.
Life is for living. All we have is the here and now; live like you really mean it. You can’t change the past and the future hasn’t happened yet. So embrace the present moment.
