How to display your professional family photos: 4 quick steps
Have your living room looking ‘designer’ in no time with my simple rules for shelf art in the home.
All my clients go home with digital images. Deciding what to do with those images after your photoshoot can often be the trickiest part. But it can also be super fun!
Don’t be scared!
I’m on hand to guide you through all the choice available, whether you’d like some wall art printed out and framed, or if you’d prefer a keepsake album of all you favourite portraits.
In my opinion, there’s no point going to the trouble of getting professional family photos done if those photos are just going to end up sitting on a memory stick in a draw somewhere for years. Believe me, I’ve been guilty of this in the past and I’ve even been guilty a long time ago, when I just started out, of just selling the digitals to clients and expecting them to figure out the printing on their own. (Naturally, life gets in the way and years down the line they’ve done nothing with the photos. Eek.)
Now I offer a ‘full service’ studio to clients, where I can suggest and print out for you based on your home decor and lifestyle choices.
And typically, working in London where many of us don’t live in sprawling houses with loads of wall space, it’s amazing what you can do with a few simple images. To achieve an elegant, classic ‘designed’ look, you can incorporate just a few of your photoshoot prints into an overall pleasing aesthetic for your whole shelf. Every time you walk past it, you’ll feel like you’re living in a magazine.
The Shelfie. It’s a thing.
